We just got back from Elk Camp. It has been a cold and rainy year with not alot of elk to be found. We had a great time, though, sitting around the fire and "roughing it" watching DVD's and conference!
Robert put up a tarp over the campfire so we could sit around without getting rained on. He used this big ladder to do it, and later we found Kyler up the ladder... all by himself!
Jake and Kurt took care of the horses staying warm... (Robert and Kendal helped a bit, too!! ;) )
Jessi got to ride my horse opening day! We tried to get her as warm as possible, but she was still pretty cold. She never complained a bit, though. She is a real trooper and had a great time.
We're looking forward to next year... hopefully it'll be a bit warmer, or just drier! We'll also all get our tags earlier...
